Cork Support Group for Weight Loss Surgery

Cork Support Group for Weight Loss Surgery comprises patients who have undergone all types of obesity surgery and also patients who are considering undergoing surgery. The group provides invaluable advice to patients who are contemplating surgery and to those patients who have had surgery and who are confused regarding symptoms, diet etc. Patients who have attended the meetings have found the group to be invaluable for information regarding surgery and psychological support.

The group meets on the first Tuesday of every month at the Bons Secours Hospital, College Road, Cork at 7.30am. All patients who are contemplating bariatric surgery or who have had bariatric surgery either in Ireland or abroad are welcome to attend these meetings. You do not require a GP referral to attend.
